Spotlighting several of Sharonville Convention Centers Concert Series guest this year.
One of our primary goals is to offer a variety of public events for the community to enjoy. Recently, the Sharonville Convention Center teamed up with concert promoter, Rick Warner and Associates (RWA), to host some exciting concerts this year.
January brought the one and only Little River Band into the Northern Lights Ballroom for a fantastic night of dinning and great entertainment. In February a special performance by John Waite of the Baby’s (Remember, “Missing You”?) on Valentine’s Day proved to be the perfect romantic date night. On May 8th a special fund raising concert was put on to honor local musician Chuck Reed, many local bands and close to 1,000 people came out for the “Play On” event with all proceeds being donated to pancreatic cancer research. The following night Air Supply performed and the crowd was certainly not “All Out of Love” for their show! Country great Marty Stuart played on July 25th and fans traveled from near and far to hear him play the mandolin.
The next concert RWA had planned is for later this month. Cincinnati’s own, Pure Prairie League is scheduled to play an intimate dinner show on August 29. Tickets are selling out fast and can purchased at www.rwatickets.com.
