All Children Thrive are advocates in helping the 66,000 children in Cincinnati be the healthiest they can be. Through partnerships combining families, communities and organizations, they find the best solutions for children and families to thrive in their health and wellbeing.
We were thrilled to have the All Children Thrive Learning Network’s semi-annual learning session on December 12 with 396 parents, community members, health providers, social workers and other advocates for children. Read the excerpt below to hear all about the event:
“The network gathered to build connections, solve problems and celebrate promising quality improvement work that is focused on improving the health of Cincinnati’s 66,000 children. A powerful keynote address was delivered by Ryan Adcock and Dr. Meredith Shockley of Cradle Cincinnati that addressed racism, how it affects our outcomes, and reminded attendees that equity is doable! An interactive Storyboard Walk highlighted all of the quality improvement work and progress across the Network, and also provoked insight for additional cross-network collaborations.
We would like to thank our partners from Cincinnati Public Schools, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Cincinnati Health Department, ACT Parent Partners, Cradle Cincinnati Learning Collaborative, and many local non-profits for attending the December Learning Session and making Cincinnati a place where all children thrive.
We also would like to thank the Sharonville Convention Center for their hospitality and providing us a gathering place where we can all teach and all learn!”
