Kim inspired us. As the Sales Manager at Sharonville Convention Center for over 11 years, Kim’s co-workers and customers would describe her as authentic, quick-witted, unflappable, intelligent and loyal. If there was a better way of doing something, she was not shy about sharing. Kim was a good friend to many that she worked with, and her dedication to her customers and job made her invaluable.
Kim gained the respect and admiration of many, having worked in the Greater Cincinnati hospitality industry for 20 years. She was a longtime member of OSAE (Ohio Society of Association Executives), Ohio Valley MPI, and the Tourism Council of Greater Cincinnati.
Kim’s greatest role was that of being a mother to her two daughters, Riley and Regan. Sharonville Convention Center will honor and memorialize Kim with the dedication this Spring of a new mother’s room located in the convention center. The room will be named “Kim Haas’ Mother’s Retreat” and will allow mothers who visit the Sharonville Convention Center to have a place to relax and care for their children.
